Heard the learned Senior Counsel for the

petitioner Sri Krishna Singh and the learned APP for

the State.

The petitioner seeks regular bail in

connection with Mahila P.S. Bhojpur Case No.

72/2021, registered for the offence punishable

under Sections 376, 504 and 506 of the Indian

Penal Code and section 6 of POSCO Act.

At the outset, the learned Senior Counsel

for the petitioner seeks not to press the present

petition, however, seeks a direction upon the trial

court to expedite the trial. It is directed

accordingly.
