7 06-02-2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the O.P. No. 2 and learned A.P.P.
for the State.
2. Since both the applications arise out of the same police station case, they have been taken up together.
3. The petitioners have made the following prayer in this application :-
“That this is an application for quashing of the FIR being Nayagaon P.S. Case No. 184 of 2024 registered against these Petitioners and nine other named accused persons for the offences punishable under Sections
126(2), 115(2), 74, 85, 352, 351(2), 79, 3(5) of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita corresponding to Sections 3 41 , 323, 354, 498A, 504, 506, 509 and 34 respectively of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act .”
4. Learned counsel for the O.P. No. 2 prays that the case may be listed on 17.02.2026 on account of absence of the learned Senior advocate.
5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submit that the case is unnecessarily be adjourned and even earlier the case was adjourned at the behest of the O.P. No. 2 on similar ground. Today again the prayer is being made which is strongly objected.
6. In view of such objection and also taking into account the fact that the case has been running on the list for long time, by way of last indulgence, the case is being fixed at
2:15 P.M. on 17.02.2026.
7. It goes without saying, if nobody appears to assist this Court on behalf of the O.P. No. 2, the Court will proceed ahead hearing the matter and pass necessary order.
8. In the meantime, interim order dated 04.02.2025 shall remain continued. (Sourendra Pandey, J)
