3 10-12-2025 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.
2. This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Sikti Police Station Case No. 80 of 2025, dated 07.05.2025, disclosing offences under Sections 115(2)/118(1)/126(2)/76/69/352/351(2)/351(3) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita .
3. In the First Information Report the informant has alleged that for the last five years i.e. since 2020, the petitioner used to talk with the informant over phone and tell her that once the informant attains the age of 18 years the petitioner would marry her. When the informant attained the age of 18 years and asked the petitioner to perform marriage, the petitioner made promise that he would marry her. From the year 2022, the petitioner started loving the informant a lot and on pretext of marriage, established physical relationship.
