4 18-12-2025 1. Heard learned Counsel for the petitioners, learned Counsel for the informant and learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State.
2. This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Patahi Police Station Case No. 163 of 2023, dated 01.06.2023, disclosing offences punishable under Sections 302 /34 of the Indian Penal Code .
3. The prosecution case, as per the First Information Report, is that on 01.06.2023, at about 6 AM, while the husband of the informant was feeding the buffaloes, the petitioners along with others came there and assaulted her husband, due to which the husband of the informant died.
4. Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case due to village politics. The petitioners are the next door neighbours of the informant. He further submits that the deceased died a natural death inasmuch as there is no mentioning of any internal or external injury on the body of the deceased.
