2. The present interlocutory application has been filed on behalf of the appellant for suspension of sentence and grant of bail during pendency of the present appeal.

4. It has been submitted on behalf of the appellant that Court. The learned Trial Court has not appreciated the evidence available on record. Further, it has been submitted that the appellant has been in custody since 16.12.2018 and has remained in custody for more than seven years, and there is no chance of the appeal being taken up for hearing in near future. The appellant has no criminal antecedents and has never misused the privilege of bail. It is further submitted that due to a petty quarrel between the appellant and his wife, she sustained injuries and subsequently succumbed to the same.
