2. The petitioner is an institute represented through its authorized signatory has approached this Court seeking a direction upon the concerned respondent to accord temporary affiliation to the petitioner-college to impart Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Commerce courses for the academic session 2025-29 and 2026-30 and consequently upload the name of the college in the portal of the list of affiliated college so that the institute could take admission of the students for the academic session 2025-29 and 2026-30.
3. Learned Advocate for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner-college was duly registered in the college affiliation portal of Bihar having registration no.2024000025 dated 14.12.2024. Upon submission of the security money to the respondent-University for affiliation, the inspection team duly inspected and verified. On being satisfied, the inspecting team recommended for affiliation of the petitioner-college to the respondent-University and the State Government. The matter has also been placed before the Syndicate and Senate of the University, which in turn, also recommended for grant of temporary affiliation to the petitioner-college to run degree college in Science, Arts and Commerce stream. The recommendation letter has been placed on record as Annexure- P/5 to the writ petition. Despite the recommendation made by the University in favour of the petitioner-college, till date no decision has been taken by the Director, Higher Education, Bihar, Patna; hence, the present writ petition.
4. Learned Advocate for the State seeks a short adjournment in order to apprise this Court with regard to the present position.

Considering the nature of the grievance and the submissions advanced, this Court deems it fit and proper to dispose off the writ petition with a direction to the respondent no.5, the Director, Higher Education, Bihar, Patna to look into the matter keeping in mind the recommendation made by the University and take a final decision, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
6. The writ petition stands disposed off.
