2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jakkanpur PS Case No.134 of 2025 dated 19.02.2025, instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 80 read with 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita , 2023.

3. The prosecution case, in short, is that the deceased was married with the petitioner in the year 2023. The petitioner was working as Constable (Driver) in Bihar Police and was posted at Muzaffarpur. The deceased was staying in a rented accommodation at Patna. On the alleged date of occurrence, when the deceased’s younger sister visited her house at Indira Nagar, she found the front door of the house was closed. Upon knocking the door, nobody opened the gate. Then, she noticed that the back door was opened through which she entered the house and saw the deceased, Prinyanka, hanging from ceiling fan.
