3 03-12-2025 Heard Ms. Surya Nilambari, learned counsel for the appellant, Mr. Abhimanyu Sharma, learned APP for the State and Mr. Shiv Prasad Gupta, learned counsel for the respondent no.2.
2. We find that the present appeal has been filed against the judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 22.05.2025 and 24.05.2025 respectively, whereby and whereunder the appellant herein, has been convicted under Section 6 5(2), 66, 238 and 103(1) of Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, 2023 and of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 , hence as per the prevailing law, it is imperative that the name, parentage and identity of the Respondent No.2, who is the mother of the victim girl, be masked and shall not be disclosed in the records placed in public domain.
3. Hence, we direct the Registry to mask the name, parentage and particulars of Respondent No.2 and instead depict her as Ms. Y. The Registry is further directed to mention the name, parentage and other partic
