2 18-12-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.
2. The instant application for anticipatory bail has been filed by the petitioner apprehending his arrest in a case instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 467 , 468, 420, 471, 120(B) of Indian Penal Code .
3. As per complaint, when the complainant along with his family came to his village from Vishunpur (W.B.), he came to know that petitioner has sold his land fraudulently to other accused persons.
4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. It is further submitted that the petitioner is the nephew of the complainant and the present case has arisen out of an existing land dispute between the parties. De-facto, the petitioner has sold 34 dismil of land out of the joint family property, in respect of which he is a lawful title holder. It is also stated in paragraph 3 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer of bail.
