5 29-01-2026 Heard learned counsel for the appellant and learned Special P.P. for of the State.

2. This appeal has been filed against the order dated

15.09.2023 passed by learned Exclusive Special Judge, SC/ST Act, Gaya in connection with Rampur Gaya P.S. Case No. 281 of 2023, registered under Sections 406 , 419, 420, 379, 504, 506/34 of the IPC and Section 3 (i)(r)(s)/, 3(2)(v-a) of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act (for short “SC/ST Act”), whereby the prayer for bail of appellant has been rejected.

3. As per prosecution case, informant alleged that on

12.04.2023, FIR named accused persons extorted Rs. 50,000/-

and other valuables from the father of the informant posing themselves as officers of Electricity Department. On inquiry, they were abused by caste name and threatened to kill by the accused persons.

4. Learned counsel for the appellant submits that the present FIR is a counter blast of Complaint Case No. 627 of 2023 which was lodged by the appellant against the informant and others. It is a desperate attempt on behalf of the informant to cover up the offence of power theft. The appel
