2. The appellant in this case seeks suspension of his sentence and release on bail during the pendency of the appeal. He has been convicted vide judgment dated 07.06.2024 and sentenced vide order dated 22.06.2024 by learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-IIIrd, Jehanabad, in Sessions Trial No. 411 of 2019, arising out of Jehanabad (Kalpa O.P.) P.S. Case No. 351 of 2019 & G.R. No. 859 of 2019, for the offences punishable under Sections 148 , 302/149 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27(i) of the Arms Act . He has been ordered to undergo rigorous imprisonment for life and to pay a fine of Rs.20,000/- for the offence punishable under Section 302/149 IPC and in default of payment of fine, he has to further undergo simple imprisonment for six months. For sake of brevity, the sentences awarded under other sections are not mentioned.
