Heard learned counsel for the appellant and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State on this interlocutory application seeking suspension of sentence and release of the appellant on bail during pendency of the appeal.

2. This Court had earlier issued notice to the informant-respondent No.2. The notice has been duly served upon the informant, but he has chosen not to enter appearance in this case.

3. Records have been placed before this Court to consider the prayer of the appellant for suspension of her sentence and release on bail during pendency of the appellant.

4. The appellant has been convicted vide judgment dated 12.06.2025 in POCSO Case No. 25 of 2017, arising out of Bhabhua P.S. Case No. 676 of 2016 dated 01.12.2016, passed by learned Additional Session Judge VI-cum-Special Judge, POCSO Act, Kaimur, for the offence punishable under Sections 376(1) and 109 of the Indian Penal Code (for brevity “IPC”) and Section 6 /17 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act , 2012
