3 06-01-2026 Heard the parties.
2. The present application has been preferred for the following relief(s):
(i) For issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari to quash the lease and acceptance dated 21.7.2017 showing ponds are settled in the name of Md Sahebjama Khan, Khursheed Khan and one Raj Kumari Devi regarding the ponds appertaining to Khata no 298 Khesra no 432, 506 and 874 as contained in Annexure-6 to this petition, because the settlee are neither comes from Mallah caste nor they are members of the Fishery Committee.
(ii) For issuance of further writ in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to grant lease of ponds in question to the genuine candidates like petitioner who are the members of Fishery Samiti, Durgawati because only the members of Fishery Committee is entitled to get the sairat for fishing work.
(iii) And / or pass such other order or orders as deem fit and proper in the interest of justice.
3. Learned counsel representing the respondent nos.
13 to 15 submit that the lease period was from 01.07.2017 to 30.06.2019 and the said period has already come to an end and
4. Taking note of the aforesaid facts that the period the same is accordingly disposed of.
