CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PARTHA SARTHY ORAL ORDER

3 16-02-2026 Re: I.A. no.1 of 2017 (7669/2017)

The instant application has been filed by the intervenor/applicants with a prayer to add them as co-petitioners in the instant writ application as the relief being sought for by them is similar to the relief being sought by the writ petitioners in the writ application.

2. At the outset, learned counsel for the respondents submits that as per the Rules of Patna High Court, intervention applications only in opposition to the writ application can be entertained.

3. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and having perused the contents of the petition, the Court finds substance in the submissions made by learned counsel for the respondents.

4. In view of the above, the application is dismissed. 5. I.A. no. 1 of 2017 (7669/2017) stands disposed of.

Re: I.A no. 2 of 2018 (9182/2018)

7. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and having gone through the contents of the petition, the prayer made in the instant application is allowed.

8. I.A no.2 of 2018 (9182/2018) stands disposed of.

Re: CWJC no.10459 of 2017
