19 19-02-2026 The appellants seek adjournment of hearing of these batch of criminal appeals which were instituted in the year 2018 on the ground that in Cr. Appeal (DB) No. 760 of 2018 & in Cr. Appeal (DB) No. 822 of 2018, the learned Senior counsel is elevated to the Bench.

2. The learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the appellant in Cr. Appeal (DB) No. 802 of 2018 also seeks adjournment, sailing himself on the same boat as of other two appeals.

3. This is really unfortunate that these appeals are pending before this High Court for about 8 years and the appellants does not have any urgency to dispose of the appeals. Moreover, the appellants have failed to file the typed copy of the paper book and exhibits.

4. In view of such circumstances, the hearing of the instant appeals is adjourned, as a last chance.

5. The appellants who are not represented by the learned Senior counsel are directed to engage any other Advocate as per their wish in the meantime. The appellants are also directed to file the typed copy of the paper book and exhibits before the next date of hearing.

6. Re-notify these appeals on 25.02.2026, subject to the payment of cost of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand) each payable to the Patna High Court Legal Services Committee.
