8 16-03-2026 1. The Learned counsel on behalf of the appellant in Cr. APP (SJ) NO. 394 of 2004 sought adjournment for receiving paperbook and translation from the Registry.

2. The Learned counsel for the appellants from the office of Learned counsel Mr. Gajendra Nath Ojha in Cr. APP (SJ) Nos. 405 of 2004 and 454 of 2004, reported to the Court that initially Hon’ble Mr. Justice Samarendra Pratap Singh was the counsel on record for the appellants and, after being elevated to the Bench in the year 2006–07, the parties took back the file, therefore, there are no instructions.

3. Further, in Cr. APP (SJ) No. 445 of 2004, this Court had appointed Mr. Praveen Kumar, as amicus curiae, who has now been elevated to the Bench. Therefore, there is a necessity to appoint an amicus curiae in Cr. APP (SJ) Nos. 405 of 2004, 454 of 2004 and 445 of 2004. Accordingly, Mr. Viswajeet Gajendra Pratap Singh is appointed as amicus curiae in these matters.

4. The Registry is directed to supply copies of the memorandum of appeal, paper book and translation to the amicus curiae to assist the Court.

List all the matters on 01.04.2026.
