1. The present petition has been preferred against order dated 05.04.2025 passed by learned Addl. Principal Judge, Family Court, Amritsar, under Section 125 of the Cr.P.C., whereby maintenance of Rs.5,000/- per month was awarded along with litigation expenses of Rs.3300/- in favour of the respondent.

2. The brief facts of the case are that the marriage between the petitioner and the respondent was solemnized on 22.02.2008. A matrimonial dispute ensued between the parties and the respondent filed a petition under Section 125 Cr.P.C. for seeking maintenance. The petitioner filed a reply and contested the claim made by the respondent, whereafter the learned Family Court vide order dated 05.04.2025 granted maintenance of Rs.5,000/- per month along with one time litigation expenses of Rs.3300/- in favour of the respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present petition.
