This petition has been registered on the basis of representation

submitted by Darshan Singh son of Pritam Singh and Buta Singh son of late

Dalip Singh, which was addressed to Hon'ble the Chief Justice of this

Court.

As per the representation so made, Jagbir Singh @ Lali son of

Darshan Singh and Gurpreet Singh @ Heera son of late Dalip Singh have

been taken away by the police on 16.9.2016 at about 8:00 PM and they are

in illegal custody.

Learned State counsel has filed the reply by way of affidavit of

Shri Ajay Raj Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division,

Faridkot on behalf of respondent-State. Same is taken on record.
