1. The petitioner has filed the present petition with a prayer to issue a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the order dated 15.09.2025 (Annexure P-2) qua the petitioner, whereby the petitioner has been ordered to be transferred from Malout (Sri Muktsar Sahib) to Pathankot which is a far off place from his residence.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner is serving in the respondent-department as Panchayat Secretary and has always maintained good work and conduct in the Department. He further contends that on 26.05.2017, the petitioner was transferred from Malout to Gurdaspur and on 30.06.2017, the petitioner was again transferred from Gurdaspur to Malout. On 10.07.2017, he was transferred again from Malout to Narot Jaimal Singh, District Pathankot. On 11.01.2018, he was again further transferred from Narot Jaimal Singh, District Pathankot to Kotkapura, District Faridkot. Even after that, he was transferred to different places.
