Pe(cid:30)(cid:30)oner herein is the defendant in Civil Suit No. CS-821-2024

(cid:30)tled “Sa(cid:4)sh v. Ramesh”, pending before the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), Charkhi Dadri. He has approached this Court under its supervisory jurisdic(cid:30)on challenging the order dated 10.07.2025 (Annexure P-1), whereby his defence has been struck off for failure to file the wri6en

statement.

2. A perusal of the record reveals that the pe(cid:30)(cid:30)oner-defendant entered appearance before the trial Court on 07.11.2024. Therea8er, despite grant of repeated opportuni(cid:30)es, he failed to file his wri6en statement within the statutory as well as the extended period. Ul(cid:30)mately, on 22.05.2025, the learned trial Court granted one last opportunity to the pe(cid:30)(cid:30)oner to file the wri6en statement, subject to payment of costs of ₹1,000/- to be deposited with the District Legal Services Authority
