1. The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 for quashing of FIR No.38 dated 28.09.2024 under Sections 115(2) and 118 of BNS (Sections 118(1) AND 118(2) of BNS added subsequently) registered at Police Station Ghuman Kalan, District Gurdaspur and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 06.11.2025 (Annexure P-2), which is stated to have been effected

between the parties.

2 On 10.12.2025, the following order was passed:

“The petitioner has approached this Court seeking quashing of FIR (Annexure P-1) and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom on the basis of a compromise having been effected between the parties.
