1. The present Regular Second Appeal is directed against the judgment and decree dated 12.12.2006 passed by the learned District Judge, Hisar, whereby the appeal preferred by the respondent was partly allowed and the judgment and decree dated 27.10.2005 passed by the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), Hisar were modified. The First Appellate Court reduced the compensation ₹ ₹

awarded by the trial Court from 10,00,000/- to 4,02,528/-, along with interest at the rate of 9% per annum. The appellant, aggrieved by the said reduction of the ₹

decretal amount in a suit for recovery of 10,00,000/-, has approached this Court by way of the present Regular Second Appeal.
