1. Prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.132 dated 08.08.2024 registered under Sections 22, 25, 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (Section 25 of the NDPS Act deleted lateron) at Police Station Fazilka, District Fazilka.

2. Brief facts of the present case as per the prosecution are that on 08.08.2024, Inspector Manjeet Singh, along with his fellow police officials while on a patrolling duty, on suspicion apprehended the petitioner and co- accused Raj Singh. On search of the vehicle, recovery of 1050 intoxicant tablets was effected. Hence, the present FIR.
