1. This petition has been filed inter alia for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing respondents No.2 and 3 to consider representation dated 09.10.2025, Annexure P-3, filed by the petitioner.
2. Counsel for the petitioner states that on 23.07.2022, when petitioner’s husband-Binder Singh, was travelling to Mansa on a motorcycle, a stray animal came in front of the vehicle, which went out of control. Binder Singh sustained injuries and was hospitalized but his condition kept on deteriorating and he died on 31.07.2022. Counsel states that a G.D. No.23 dated 01.08.2022 was prepared under Section 174 IPC and as death had taken place due to an accident with the stray animal, petitioner applied for grant of compensation.
