The present pe(cid:28)(cid:28)on arises out of Rent Pe(cid:28)(cid:28)on No. RP-202 of

2022 filed by the landlord, Suresh Kumar, under Sec(cid:28)on 13 of the Haryana Urban (Control of Rent and Evic(cid:28)on) Act, 1973, seeking evic(cid:28)on of the respondent-tenant Rajan Verma from the demised shop on the grounds of non-payment of rent and personal necessity.

2. During the pendency of the said evic(cid:28)on pe(cid:28)(cid:28)on, the tenant moved an applica(cid:28)on (Annexure P-3) praying for a direc(cid:28)on to the landlord to restore the electricity supply in the demised premises. The said applica(cid:28)on has been dismissed by the learned Rent Controller vide order dated 17.04.2025, which is the subject ma;er of challenge before this Court.
