1. Present is the second petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 0047 dated 16.05.2024, registered under Sections 302, 364, 342, 120-B IPC (Sections 302, 364, 342, 120-B IPC having been deleted later and Section 304 IPC added), at Police Station Arniwala, District Fazilka, Punjab.

2. Briefly stated, the present FIR has been registered on the statement of complainant Sudhir Kumar, brother of deceased Sandeep Kumar. As per the prosecution version, on 09.05.2024, Sandeep Kumar had gone to Village Ghantianwali Jattan along with Gurbhej Singh @ Bheja. It is alleged that upon reaching there, Manjeet Singh (present petitioner), along with co-accused Jagsir Singh, Gurwinder Singh and Surjit Singh, all armed with weapons, stopped their vehicle and forcibly dragged Sandeep Kuma
