1. Instant one is the second petition as filed by the petitioner seeking benefit of regular bail in case arising out of FIR No.0133, dated 07.07.2023, registered under Section 22 of the NDPS, at Police Station City Jagraon, District Ludhiana.

2. Brief facts of the case relevant for the disposal of the present petition are that on 07.07.2023, on the basis of a secret information, the petitioner was apprehended by a police party headed by ASI Balwinder Singh and recovery of 300 intoxicating tablets namely Etazip having salts of Etizolam & Proprnalol, was effected from him. Since he could not produce any licence or permit to keep in his possession the recovered drugs, he was formally arrested at the spot.
