1. This is the first petition filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 55 dated 22.10.2025, registered under Sections 21, 29, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Mattewal, District Amritsar.

2. Brief facts of the case are that FIR No.55 dated 22.10.2025 was registered under Sections 21, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Mattewal, District Amritsar, and subsequently Section 29 of the NDPS Act was added vide DDR No.14 dated 22.10.2025. The petitioner Balwant Singh alias Joga was nominated on the basis of disclosure statement of co-accused Mehakdeep Singh and was arrested on 22.10.2025. A recovery of 15 grams of heroin is alleged to have been effected from the petitioner, whereas 10 grams of heroin was recovered from co-accused Mehakdeep Singh. The report of the FSL is
