1. This order shall dispose of above mentioned two appeals filed by the same appellants challenging the award dated 14.02.2023 passed by the learned Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Fatehabad (hereinafter referred to as “the Tribunal”) on the ground of quantum, whereby a sum of ₹23,42,400/- was granted on account of the death of husband of appellant No.1 namely Sharawan Kumar @ Sharvan Kumar and a sum of ₹3,00,000/- was granted on account of the death of her minor son, Mukesh Kumar, who died in a motor vehicular accident on 21.05.2020. For the sake of convenience, the facts are being taken from FAO No.2166 of 2023 titled as ‘Smt. Nirmla Devi Vs. Malkit @ Malkiyat and Others.
