1. The present is a petition filed under Section 11 (6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Act’), seeking appointment of an Arbitration Tribunal/Arbitrator(s) in the present case.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that an agreement was executed between the petitioner and the respondent, which is in the nature of a lease deed. The said agreement has been appended with the present petition as Annexure P-1 and contains an arbitration clause at Para No. 24, providing that in case of any dispute arising between the parties, the matter shall be referred to an Arbitral Tribunal consisting of three arbitrators.
