1. This revision petition is directed against the order dated 10.12.2025 (Annexure P-3) passed by the Court of learned Civil Judge (Sr. Divn.), Bathinda vide which the defence of petitioner/defendant has been struck off.

2. Before proceeding further, the impugned order is reproduced as under:-

“Written statement not filed. Perusal of the file reveals that defendant was appeared in this case on 04.02.2025. Till date written statement has not been filed. Perusal of the file reveals that defendant has already availed numerous opportunities including last to file the same but no written statement has been filed. Now, there is no justification to adjourned the case further for the same purpose as the period of 120 days has already elapsed. In the interest of justice, defence of defendant is ordered to be struck. Now, the case is adjourned to 15.01
