1. Having remained unsuccessful in a petition filed under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 (In short “the Act”) for dissolution of marriage by a decree of divorce, the appellant-husband has approached this Court by way of instant appeal challenging the judgment and decree dated 30.10.2014 passed by the District Judge, Family Court, Gurgaon.

2. Sans unessentials, the facts of the case are that the marriage between the parties was solemnized on 27.4.2009 at village Kasar, Tehsil Bahadurgarh, District Jhajjar (Haryana) as per Hindu rites and ceremonies. After the marriage, the parties lived together as husband and wife and out of the said wedlock, a son, namely, Sidhhant was born on 16.4.2012.
