The instant application has been filed by the applicant under Section 378(4) of the Code of Criminal Procedure (for short ‘Cr.P.C.’) seeking grant of leave to file appeal against the judgment of acquittal dated 31.10.2018, passed by the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Rupnagar in Criminal Complaint bearing No.NACT/247/2016 titled as 'Sunita Rani Verma Vs. Harbans Kaur' filed under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, whereby respondent/accused had been acquitted for commission of aforementioned offence.
