1. The appellant-claimants have filed the present appeal seeking enhancement of the compensation of ₹8,02,600/- awarded by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Bhiwani (for short ‘the learned Tribunal’) vide Award dated 22.09.2014, passed in MACT Petition No. 22 of 2014 dated 25.02.2014 filed under Section 166 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. The 02 claimants are the parents of deceased-Vikas who was 23 years old at the time of accident.

2. Brief facts of the case are that the learned Tribunal on the basis of pleadings and evidence adduced before it concluded that deceased-Vikas, had died in a motor vehicular accident that took place on 08.09.2013 due to the rash and negligent driving of Tractor bearing registration No. HR-16-L-2104 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the offending vehicle’) owned and driven by respondent No.1
