1. Present petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.226 dated 13.12.2025, under Sections 21(b) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, registered at Police Station Sadar Ratia, District Fatehabad.

2. The gravamen of the FIR in question is that the petitioner is an accused of being involved in FIR pertaining to NDPS Act involving 25.05 grams of heroin allegedly recovered from the petitioner and his co- accused, namely, Harpreet Kaur and Jasbir Kaur on 13.12.2025 while they were travelling on a motor cycle in the area of Canal Bridge on Sardarewala-Hakamwala road, Ratia.
