1. This is the second petition filed under Section 483 BNSS seeking grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.52 dated 17.05.2024 under Sections 346 and 34 of IPC (Sections 363 and 366-A of IPC added later on), registered at Police Station Sadar Malout, District Sri Muktsar Sahib.

2. The translated version of the FIR is reproduced below:-

“Statement of Surjeet Ram son of Hari Chand son of Kalu Ram, Resident of village Katore wala age about 42 years, mobile number 99146xxxxx. Stated that I am resident of above mentioned address and work as laborer. I got married 22 years ago with Mukti Bhai. I have two children, elder son is Ajay Kumar, who is working in Bank in Bathinda and younger daughter is xxxxxx who has passed class 12th this year and now stay at home. On 15.05.2024 at about 11.00 AM, I and my wife for some household work had gone to the village a
