1. Prayer in the instant petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, is for issuance of directions to official respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty fo the petitioner at the hands of private respondent No.5.

2. In the present case, after hearing learned counsel for the petitioner, on 13.02.2026, following order was passed:-

“i) Present criminal writ petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of BNSS, seeking issuance of directions to respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent No.5.
