The prayer in the instant criminal writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of BNSS seeking writ in the nature of mandamus directing to official respondent(s) to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of private respondents and to restrict them from harassing and interfering in their married life.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contended that both the petitioners are major and have solemnized their marriage on 21.03.2026 and in support thereof, have annexed marriage certificate (Annexure P-3) in this regard.
