1 In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of directions to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment to the post of Special Educator Teacher (Primary Cadre) by granting age relaxation in terms of Sub-Clause (iii) of Clause 5 of the advertisement dated 21.07.2025 (Annexure P-2) issued by the respondent No.3, being Government employee.

2. The brief facts of the case are that the petitioner is working as Children with Special Needs Teacher (CWSN) on contract basis under the Government of Delhi. The respondent No.3 issued an advertisement dated 21.07.2025 (Annexure P-2) inviting online applications for recruitment to the post of Special Educator Teacher (Primary Cadre) in the Education Department of the State of Punjab.
