This is a petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023 (BNSS) for directions to respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of private respondents No. 4 to 6.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, contends that the petitioner, feeling aggrieved by the act and conduct of private respondents No. 4 to 6 and apprehending threats to her life and liberty had moved the representation dated 19.02.2025 (Annexure P-1) to the Commissioner of Police, District Administrative Complex, Amritsar City, but till date no action thereon has been taken.
