1. This revision petition has been preferred against the judgment dated 27.08.2008 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Bathinda, vide which judgment of conviction and order on quantum of sentence dated 05.10.2007 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Bathinda, in FIR No.80 dated 27.08.2002 registered under Section 420 IPC at Police Station Nahianwala, have been upheld.
2. The petitioner was convicted and sentenced under Section 420 of IPC and was ordered to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 01 year and to pay a fine of Rs.500/- along with default mechanism.
