1. The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 for quashing of FIR No.96, dated 02.06.2018, registered under Sections 498-A, 406, 420, 120-B IPC registered at Police Station Baghapurana, District Moga and all other consequential proceedings arising therefrom alongwith the judgment of conviction dated 23.10.2024 on the basis of compromise dated 28.10.2024 (Annexure P-2) effected between the parties.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter has been compromised between both the parties. He has placed reliance on judgment rendered by Hon’ble Supreme Court in the case of “Ram Gopal and another vs. State of Madhya Pradesh”, 2021(4) R.C.R. (Criminal) 322, to contend that this Court while exercising jurisdiction under Section 482 Cr.P.
