1. The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No.55 dated 13.05.2025 registered under Sections 333, 115(2), 76 & 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 10 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act (Amended), 2012, 2019 at Police Station Kotbhai, District Sri Muktsar Sahib.

2. As per office report, notice issued to respondent No.2 has been received back with the report that she refused to accept the same with the statement that she is 14-15 years old and that her parents are confined in Jail.

3. Status report by way of an affidavit of Sh. Avtar Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Gidderbaha, District Sri Muktsar Sahib, on behalf of the respondent-State, filed in the Registry is taken on record.
