JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J.(ORAL The prayer in this second petition under Section 483 of Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 is for the grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.190 dated 26.09.2023 under Section 22 NDPS Act (Section 29 of NDPS Act 1985 added later on) registered at Police Station Guruharsahai, District Ferozepur.

2. The brief facts of the case are that Jang Singh (petitioner) came to be apprehended with 1010 intoxicating tablets i.e. 330 tablets of Tramadol Hydrochloride 100 MG (TMD-SR-100) and 680 tablets of Tramadol Hydrochloride 100 MG (Clovedol 100 SR) along with drug money of Rs.2,31,360/-.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. The mandatory provisions of Sections 42 and 50 of the NDPS Act have not been complied with in their proper perspective. No independent witness was joined at th
