JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J.(ORAL The prayer in this petition under Section 483 of Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 is for the grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.113 dated 22.07.2023 under Section 22(c), 27 A of NDPS Act 1985 registered at Police Station City Sri Muktsar Sahib, District Sri Muktsar Sahib.

2. The brief facts of the case are that Lovepreet Singh, Jagga Singh (petitioner) and Kulwant Kaur (since granted the concession of bail vide order dated 03.09.2025 in CRM-M-41148-2025) were apprehended with 1000 intoxicant tablets and Rs.1,25,000/- drug money.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. The mandatory provisions of Sections 42 and 50 of the NDPS Act have not been complied with in their proper perspective. No independent witness was joined at the time of search and seizure.
