The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the impugned relieving letter dated 01.07.2025, Annexure P-6, whereby the petitioner was relieved from the post of TGT Social Studies, on completion of contract of service on 30.06.2025.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that after initial appointment as Para-Teaching Associate (TGT Social Studies) upto 31.03.2024, vide deployment letter dated 09.01.2024, the petitioner’s term of engagement was regularly extended. On request, she was allowed to proceed on maternity leave by the School Principal with effect from 11.03.2025, as is apparent from the application, Annexure P-3. However, during subsistence of leave, she was relieved with effect from 01.07.2025, vide the impugned letter. 3. Learned State counsel has received instructions from the Department vide memo dated 09.10.2025, which is retained on case file as Annexure ‘A’ with enclosures. He has referred to the following paragraphs of the instructions:

3. That the petitioner continues her service in the Government Senior Secondary School, Kalwa upto 10.03.2025. That the petitioner applied for maternity leave from 11.03.2025. That vide EPS No. 1103019411 dated 31.03.2025 the Principal released her salary for the month of February, 2025. That the pending salary upto 30.06.2025 will be released as soon as possible after resolving the technical issue.

That vide Director Elementary Education Haryana, Panchkula, letter memo no. 15/117-2024 TGT R&A (2) dated 13.06.2025 respectively it is clearly mention that the contract period of the Teachers through HKRN will be remained upto 30.06.2025. In compliance of the Directorate letter dated 13.06.2025, the petitioner was relieved from the concerned school not relieved from service which is clear from the letter issued by the concerned school on 01.07.2025. It is pertinent to mention here that on MIS Portal there was no any sanctioned vacant post of TGT S.S. at that time (01.07.2025).

5. That vide Directorate letter memo no. 15/117-2024 TGT R&A dated 10.09.2025 issued a letter regarding proposal for the adjustment of the TGT. That in compliance of letter dated 10.09.2025, vide Block Education Officer, Pillukhera letter dated 24.09.2025 to DEEO, Jind and vide District Elementary Education Officer, Jind letter memo no. E-1/2025/1709 dated 26.09.2025 for the adjustment of TGT in the other schools to the office of the Director Elementary Education Haryana Panchkula for necessary action.

6. It is pertinent to mention here that vide Principal, GSSS, Kalwa letter no. 2714/25 dated 08.10.2025 send to the HKRN for her adjustment in some other school against vacant post.

On that basis, he submits that the petitioner’s due salary from February to June, 2025, will be released within a period of four weeks. Her case for readjustment in some other School will also be considered, and the decision taken thereupon will be conveyed to her within eight weeks therefrom.

4. In view of the statement made, learned counsel for the petitioner has no objection to the petition being disposed of in terms thereof.
