The instant appeal is directed against the order dated October 20, 2023, passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Tarn Taran, exercising the powers of a Special Court (for short – the Special Court), dismissing the appellant’s application for the grant of regular bail in FIR No.142 dated 07.09.2022 registered under Sections 389 IPC, 25(6) and 25(7)(i) of the Arms Act, 1959, Sections 4 and 5 of Explosive Substances Act, 1908 and Sections 21 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short – the NDPS Act), subsequently added offence under Sections 120-B IPC, Sections 13, 16, 17, 18, 18-B, 20 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (for short – the UAPA), further Section 389-IPC, Sections 21, 29, 61, 85 of NDPS Act were deleted and Section 387 IPC added
