1. Order dated 16.09.2025 of learned Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Ludhiana, partly allowing the application under Section 125 Cr.P.C. has been impugned in this revision petition. Learned Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Ludhiana directed the petitioner to pay a ₹
sum of 15,000/- per month to the respondent as maintenance from the date ₹
of filing the petition till 01.04.2021, 10,000/- per month from 01.04.2021 ₹
to 31.03.2023 and further 15,000/- per month from 01.04.2023 onwards.

The petitioner was also directed to pay a sum of 21,000/- towards litigation expenses. Respondent was also held entitled to increase of maintenance at a flat rate of 5% per annum after lapse of one year from the date of passing of the order.
2. A few facts may be noticed. Respondent filed a petition under Section 125 Cr.P.C. for maintenance allowance claiming that the parties were married on 12.10.2008 at Ludhiana
