The present petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) by the petitioner seeking grant of regular bail in case bearing FIR No. 132 dated 22.05.2025 registered under Sections 21(c) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act, 1985 (for short ‘NDPS Act’) at Police Station Sector 79 SAS Nagar, District Mohali.

As per the allegations, on 22.05.2025, a police party headed by SI Sanjeev Kumar was performing patrolling duty near grain market near Sahoke, when one Ertiga car bearing registration No. HR-55-AE-9479 was found standing near the sheds of grain market.
