1. This petition has been filed by petitioner – Ankit Kumar, who has taken admission in LL.M. course in Geeta Institute of Law, Panipat, Haryana, which is a college affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.

2. The college having offered admission, also accepted fee from the petitioner but the course itself was not allowed to be pursued as the University was of the view that the college had no authority to admit the petitioner.

3. Reply has been submitted by the Kurukshetra University, in which following stand is taken in para No.4:-
